Princess ANNE–Somerset County Commissioners are scheduled to open a bid today to new lights in the area of recreation facilities at Westover.
The County recently received $ 130,000 in open space Grants Program of the country, and will use part of it to pay for lighting, said Paige Hurley, the Recreation Director.
“We will be able to expand our program and offers things at night–especially in the spring and summer,” he said.
The work will involve lighting the first of five areas in the facility, as well as the parking area.
