More jobs in California under the legislation of the new Ski

California is expected to see a boost in the local economy are as a result of the new law that now allows a year recreation opportunities on the ski place US Forest Service.

Ski Area Recreational opportunity enhancement ACT in 2011, which was signed by President Barack Obama on November 7, is expected to create and maintain per year for up to 600 additional jobs.

“This is great news to promote job growth and economic stimulus in California,” said Regional Forester Randy Moore. “Local restaurants, hotels and shop owners are likely to see an increase in business as visitors flock to the location of the Forest Service for sight activities throughout the year.”

This new law amends National Forest Ski Area permit Act of 1986, which allows only Nordic and alpine skiing. Under the new law, other snow sports may be permitted in the national forest system land, and activities throughout the year. Potential activities permitted may include zip lines, terrain mountain bike parks and paths, Frisbee golf, and ropes course.
