Social security can indeed remain. One big step will only refund the taxes FICA (aka payroll tax) historic 6.2 percent level (“social security,” April 26).

The Obama administration, with the help of Republicans in the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES, compliant reduced FICA tax on early 2011 4.2 percent. It was slashing 32 percent money goes into the social security program. The American public does not understand that the dollars collected in FICA taxes are used to pay for social security benefits?

So it’s not surprising to learn this week that the funds for social security will be exhausted in 2033

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the FICA tax “holiday” in Your editorial recently. I assume you are not talking about the editorial “this elephant in the room” to protect President Obama in an election year.

Equally astounding is the fact that the Republican party has seized on the issue to declare themselves defenders of social security programs.

Mark Tummons, parks, and Recreation Director, speaking for the Department on the third day the Department budget session Wednesday morning. He hopes to employ a full time and part time positions to handle the increased activity of aquatic exercise program and youth programming.

Tummons said youth programming is headed towards an anti-violence, but it’s more than that.

That’s kind of where we re title with it, but also include nutritional programs and outreach initiatives and family health and so it’s like that, he said. “So it’s much more than just an anti, but it s take programming into several fields of our economy is lower than our community.

Department also saw the opening of Liberty Park after Wilma Rudolph Events Center open. Tummons says he sees the August time frame, but there is still a possibility it could be in September or maybe earlier.

a few years ago my wife, Anita, and I went backpacking last night with Logan McCulloch, a friend of a lot of that kind of thing. He was in tremendous form and could run a marathon with a heavy backpack. I hadn t heard of Logan for a while, and when I recently, I was surprised to find out that he has Lyme disease. He told me I ve gone from a weekend spent backpacking to struggling to walk my dog for 20 minutes and needs to be collapsed on the sofa for hours afterward … Wow!

Logan are working with support groups for sufferers in Louisville and diligently trying to get the word out that this devastating disease developing in Kentucky and we must be aware of it. Here are some excerpts from his letter that appeals to me.

The 30 + people I’ve met in a support group meeting is a very, very sick. Most have Lyme over the years repeatedly misdiagnosed and go untreated. A common theme is that their doctors did not believe Lyme is in Kentucky, or they don’t think Lyme as a potential diagnosis. The problem is, it’s diagnosis is difficult for several reasons, and because Lyme attacking your immune system, many patients dealing with the disease. The key is prevention, of course, but if you are infected with it’s critical to catch the disease early and that’s what my business is all about.

I was bitten in the Interior of the camp in Kentucky last Memorial Day weekend. I woke up to find more than 20 Deer Tick nymphs have bitten me. I think I’ve removed them all, but either I missed one, and/or they collectively transferred enough of the spirochete bacteria to me to control my immune system. My first symptom was started in July, but it was not until September that I first considered it could be Lyme.

AS-avid backpacker who I thought either I was told about the Lyme. Turns out I was wrong. For example, the mainstream media is telling that Lyme is characterized by a rash of bull ‘s-eye on the site of the bite. I ve learned that the rash appears only 50 percent of the time. What’s more, only half of this rash is present as a bull ‘s-eye and not always on site bite. So please don t depending on the bull’s eye rash around the bite-as an indicator.

Anyone who is planning a trip to a foreign country to know that gas prices and rental car rates soar. If there is an upside, it is that more tourists will discover the joys of taking the bus.

I love the train, but buses are more reliable, cost less and are almost always guarantees an adventure. I never came back from a trip to talk about what fun I rented a car, probably because I spend most of my time arguing with my partner about the direction. But the name of the country and I can tell You the bus story.

WINTER HAVEN | The biggest difference in the new recreation centre in Winter Haven membership fee will be required to obtain, if the Commissioner approves the proposals presented on the town Thursday’s bimonthly meeting workshops.

A plan to replace the city’s recreation centre there is a call for a new facility that will be run by the YMCA and bring a range of costs for non-YMCA members and members of the YMCA. The City currently has a list of fees for various programs at recreation centers.

The membership fee for residents of cities that would pay to build a leisure centre sparked criticism from some Commissioners.

“Now, we are here this morning to hash things out to see if we are to move forward with the (YMCA partnership), but we are still not able to move forward with it because we still don’t have the numbers,” said Commissioner Pete Chichetto. “All big bimonthly meetings, but we can’t have open discussion unless we have facts and figures.”

Commissioner Nat Birdsong and Jamie Beckett echoed similar criticism. Some of the new information brought to light, including the proposals revised capital improvements that would reduce the size of the proposed new City Hall. Down from $ 7 million to $ 4 million to build buildings that will incorporate the city as much as possible in a single building.

Murphy was one of the first S8390 “stars” in the video game, the lucky breaks for the character creator Chris Jones, because he is not only the man who designed the game, he is also a person who plays the role of Murphy.

While the character had its fans – perhaps most fondly remember the 1994 under a Killing Moon-he is not a household name, so a new campaign to get the new entry in the series rolling through Kickstarter may at first sound a little crazy. Even if the campaign trailer with conscious charming.

But remember, this is exactly the kind of game that can work on the service. Tex has fans, and projects like this will not require millions of other types of games are going to be asking for, so any chance of completing the game developers could really take off.

Campaign reboot called project Fedora (Tex wearing one, and the fourth game in the series is called The Pandora directive), and it will be changed on Kickstarter in May.

OTTAWA-in the winter of 1924, when the train is the only way to travel for professional hockey player, trains carrying the Ottawa Senators to Montreal for the game against the Canadiens got stuck in a snow drift.

With no way to communicate with the outside world, the young King Clancy and forward Cy Denneny, both future Hall of Famers, made their way to blizzard to find food for the rest of the team. On the way back, Denneny fell into the well that has been covered by snow and should be carried out. The Senators finally arrived at their hotel the next morning, but many hours late for their games with the Habs the night before.

Train travel has long been a thing of the past for the National Hockey League, although the modern Senators wore in fedoras, custom suits, plaid silk ties and highly polished black shoes, do your best to evoke the romance of the times Tuesday by taking the train to Montreal for the Wednesday night game against the Canadiens.

“It was fun and something different,” said Chris Phillips, who had been a fan of train travel team. “We took the train a few years ago and … I loved it and will definitely want to do it again. It is a great way to go. “

From hockey’s early days and well into the 1960s, the team will travel to book a coach car overnight, and the player they will settle into their seats for playing cards, the horse around and, of course, share a drink or two, while forming a deep bond of brotherhood.
